COURSE QUESTIONS

  • Can I purchase more than one course at a time?

    Unfortunately, the Thinkific platform does not currently offer shopping cart functionality where you can add multiple products to one purchase – which means each item would need to be purchased individually. At the moment, Course Bundles are the only way to purchase multiple courses at once.

  • How long will I have access to a course?

    Once you purchase a course, you'll have lifetime access to the content!

  • What tools or supplies do I need for the courses?

    I primarily teach digital drawing on the iPad using the Procreate app, however, you're welcome to use whatever tools you have available – whether that's pencil and paper or a different kind of drawing app and tablet.

  • Can I take one of your courses if I've never done digital art before?

    Yes! On each course description page, you'll find the Skill Level (beginner, intermediate, etc) listed under the course title. Many of my classes are beginner-friendly so they are approachable, even if you've never tried digital art before.

  • Do you have a refund policy?

    Absolutely. If you start a course and realize that it isn't the right fit for you, you can request a refund within 7 days of purchase.

    Please note that only partially completed courses are eligible for refund – a course that is more than 50% completed is not eligible for a refund.

    Please also note that live sessions (one-on-ones and workshops) are not eligible for refund once the event date has passed.

  • Are courses live or pre-recorded?

    Courses are pre-recorded so you can watch (and re-watch) at your convenience. Live classes will also be available a few times a year and structured as online workshops.

  • What if I have a question about a course?

    If you are enrolled in the course and you have a question, you can submit your query in the 'Course Questions' section of the Community page. I will respond to your question as quickly as possible.

  • Are there subtitles or close captions?

    Working on it! Closed Captions are currently available on some courses and will be added to all courses very soon. Thanks for your patience!

    When Closed Captions are available, you'll see the CC icon next to the volume button in the video player. Click the icon to turn on captions.

  • I have a different question - how do I get in touch?

COMMUNITY QUESTIONS

  • How do I access the Community page?

    There are two ways to access the Art Friends Community. Note that you'll first need to be enrolled in a class and logged into your account to gain access.

    VIA THE DASHBOARD:
    Click on the My Dashboard link at the top of the site. Once in the Student Dashboard, scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Art Friends image link. Click the link to go to the community page.

    VIA THE FOOTER:
    Click on the Community link at the bottom of this site. On the Art Friends page, click the orange link to go directly to the community page.

  • Can I access the community without purchasing a class?

    The Art Friends Community is a bonus resource for those who have enrolled in a class, workshop or booked a one-on-one session. Once you've made a purchase on the DrawWithGia site, you will have lifetime access to the Community page.

  • How do I share my class project?

    In the resources section of each course, you'll find a video tutorial with instructions for how to upload a project to the Project Gallery in the Art Friends Community.

  • Can I share my artwork even if it's not for a specific course?

    Absolutely! The Art Friends Community is a place where you can freely share your artwork, your creative experiments and progress, chat with other creatives and create community in a safe space without the bots and algorithm angst.

  • How do I delete my post?

    Unfortunately, the Thinkific platform does not currently allow community members to delete their own posts. If you'd like to delete a post, please email [email protected] with your request.
